"Every New Beginning is some other Beginning's End"
Since as long as I can remember, I have loved taking photographs and that love led me to returning to College as a mature student at the grand old age of 40 to study professional photography and gain a BA from Abertay University in 2012. Sports and documentary work were a driving force behind many of the images that graced my website. Lately however, as I re evaluated my life, I realised that it was time to truly focus in on what I really am passionate about now and that is dog photography. The main reason behind this was my own dog, a border collie named Cooper, who probably was one of the most photographed dogs in Scotland. Sadly he passed away suddenly in February 2020 and the gift of photography has provided many precious moments that we will treasure forever...

When we saw her we knew she was the one ready to fill the paw shaped space in our lives! We had been searching for a Scruffy to rescue and Siri certainly was that. She has slipped seamlessly into our lives and it's like she has been here forever. 2020 was a difficult year, not being able to get out and photograph dogs and not having my own to practice with! She is now my unwilling model and the new face of PawPrints as we continue to tell her story and that of soo many other four legged furry babies...
